On Wednesday evening there were two racoons paddling around in the mud around the wetland searching for food withy their paws. They then jumped in the water and swam across to the dam!

There were also a couple of pileated woodpeckers flying around most of Thursday and a lone Kingfisher chattering away on top of one of the alder stumps.

Claire saw an Elk with her calf here on August 24th
