Celebrate the Bounty of the Rainforest
at the First Annual Sunshine Coast Mushroom Fest
Please join us on the weekend of October 16 to 18 for a celebration of mushrooms! Participate in a forest mushrooom workshop, head out for a mushroom foray to pick your own mushrooms, learn how to dye with mushrooms, and taste delicious mushroom delicacies prepared by some of the Sunshine Coast's best chefs. Featured talk by renowned mushroom expert, David Arora, author of "Mushrooms Demystified" and "All that the Rain Promises and More". Friday, October 16

Saturday, October 17
Noon to 5 pm, Mushroom Festival, Madeira Park Community Hall
Admission: $2
5 pm - 7 pm, Dine on special mushroom dinners at our local restaurants
7:30 pm, Presentation by David Arora, acclaimed mushroom expert
and author of Mushrooms Demystified and All That the Rain Promises and More

Admission: $15 — tickets available through pre-registration or at the door
Sunday, October 18
10 am - 2 pm, Mushroom Foray with David Arora — pre-registration required
Admission: $90 (includes admission to Saturday evening presentation)
Location: Meet in the parking lot of the Painted Boat Resort at 10am (12849 Lagoon Road, Madeira Park)
Space in the foray is limited; early registration is recommended.
