Legacy Program

The Iris Griffith Centre Legacy Program is an opportunity for individuals, families, groups, businesses or corporations to secure a legacy in this valuable community asset by having your name, portrait, logo, dedication or personal history permanently laser-etched into the rock of the Centre's Legacy Wall.

Located near the main Centre building, the Legacy Wall, and your profile, will be viewed by the thousands of people entering the Centre each year.

The Legacy Program is a chance for you to receive a permanent place of honour in a project that will provide the enjoyment, and support the study and preservation of our natural environment for generations to come.

Depending on your level of participation, your signature and name, photograph or logo, dedication or personal history will be permanently laser-etched onto a black granite tile. The tile will be installed in our Legacy Wall located at the entrance and viewed by everyone entering the Centre.

The Legacy Program is ideal for:

  • Recognizing your individual, family, business or corporate support of the Centre
  • Recognizing an individual or group's contribution to your community or business
  • A memorial of a loved one who has passed away

There are a variety of Legacy Packages available - they are tax-deductible and can be financed.

Legacy Packages

Each granite tile is 30cm x 30cm. There will be a total of 150 tiles in the Legacy Wall. Once all tiles are sold the Legacy Program will be discontinued.

Positioning on the wall will be on a first come first serve basis. You will be assigned a selection number at the time of your Legacy Package purchase. That number will determine the order in which you choose your position on the wall.

Levels of Participation

legacyLegacy Package #1 - $500 - Your name, option of signature or short dedication will be laser etched into a 7.5 cm x 15cm section of tile

Legacy Package #2 - $1,000 - Your name or company name, your photograph or logo and option of signature, limited dedication or corporate identification will be laser etched into a 15cm x 15cm section of tile

Legacy Package #3 - $2,000 - Your name or company name, option of signature, individual/group photo or logo and short paragraph of text [biography, history or dedication] will be laser etched into 15cm x 30cm section of tile. You have your choice of a vertical or horizontal placement.

Legacy Package #4 - $4,000 - Your name or company name, option of signature, individual/group photo or logo and paragraph of text [biography, history or dedication] will be laser etched into one full size tile. [30cm x 30cm]

Each Legacy Package is tax deductible for 75% of its purchase value.

Your purchase of a legacy package can be financed with 40% down, the balance due within one year of purchase. Wall position will be guaranteed and tax deductible receipt issued once balance is paid
