The Field Studies Centre Building

The Field Studies Centre building will house a wet laboratory, seminar/lecture room, small auditorium, library, office, washrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, and a maintenance/storage area.

Video interfaces will be available to link the auditorium with other areas of the Field Studies Centre. For example, video links to microscopes in the laboratory could allow visitors to observe the wonder and diversity of microscopic flora and fauna from the Lagoon. At other times, video links to the Observatory could permit visitors to view the output from the telescope on a widescreen TV in the auditorium.
